Structural Features

Tank Shape: Primarily vertical cylindrical, with a flat bottom (suitable for indoor use) or conical bottom (facilitating discharge and cleaning). Large tanks require annular reinforcing ribs to enhance wind and negative pressure resistance.
Interface Configuration: Standard configuration includes inlet, outlet, overflow, drain, and manhole. Some tanks may require additional level gauge, pressure gauge, and ventilation ports (hydrochloric acid is volatile; pressure must be balanced to prevent negative pressure from collapsing the tank).
Anti-Volatilization Design: When storing concentrated hydrochloric acid, an acid mist absorption device is required. The volatilized HCl gas is directed to an absorption tower via ventilation pipes to prevent environmental pollution.
Installation Requirements: Must be placed on acid-resistant flooring, surrounded by a containment dike (to prevent leakage). Vertical tanks require bottom supports for secure installation.
Application Areas
Primarily used in the chemical, electroplating, and metallurgical industries, these tank farms require anti-seepage cofferdams, rain shelters, and emergency pools. Storage capacity must be kept below 80% to ensure safety. Hot work operations require gas detection and isolation measures to prevent explosions caused by hydrogen accumulation. Product specifications range from 0.5 to 200 cubic meters, including vertical, horizontal, and transport tank configurations. These tanks comply with multiple national standards for corrosion protection equipment.
