Main Types
Rotomolded Tanks
Process:HDPE powder is heated and rotated in a mold to form a single, seamless structure.
Features:Seamless, no welds, providing the best leak-proof performance. Suitable for small to medium-sized storage tanks (typically several hundred liters to tens of cubic meters). Shapes can be standard vertical/horizontal cylindrical, or custom-shaped tanks. This is the most common and recommended type.
Welded Assembly Tanks
Process: Assembled from HDPE sheets using hot-melt welding (extrusion welding, hot air welding).
Features: Can fabricate ultra-large capacity tanks on-site (up to several hundred cubic meters). However, requires extremely high welding standards; weld seams are potential weak points and require rigorous inspection.
Blow Molded Storage Tanks
Process: Similar to blow-molded bottles, suitable for producing small containers (such as 25-liter to 1000-liter square or round drums).
Application Scenarios
HDPE dilute sulfuric acid storage tanks are suitable for storing and transferring low to medium concentration dilute sulfuric acid, commonly found in chemical plants, electroplating industries, and environmental protection fields.
