Pickling equipment is primarily used to assist in pickling and rust removal. Typical pickling methods include chemical rust removal, including acid and alkaline rust removal (electrolysis, alkaline reduction, and boiling). Pickling is the most widely used method.
Pickling involves immersing metal products in various acid solutions. The acid reacts with the metal corrosion products, converting the insoluble rust products into soluble substances, which then separate from the metal surface and dissolve in the aqueous solution. PPH pickling tanks are constructed entirely of high-strength, corrosion-resistant polypropylene (PPH) material, combining aesthetics with high strength and corrosion resistance.
PPH pickling tanks are available in open and hydraulically covered styles. The hydraulically covered style utilizes advanced international technology, employing a two-plate, split-open hydraulic cover to effectively prevent the release of acid mist and maintain a clean workshop environment.
The PPH pickling tank body is integrated with the ventilation duct, effectively absorbing the acid mist generated during the pickling process.
The inner frame of the pickling tank is constructed of 25mm thick PPH plate, welded using a Swiss imported plastic welder for excellent weld sealing. The inner frame is reinforced with a rectangular steel tube structure for superior strength.
The PPH pickling tank is available with optional internal and external circulation heating to enhance pickling performance.
