Working Principle
When the turbine drive mechanism receives an operating command (manual or electric), it drives the valve plate to rotate around the valve shaft. As the valve plate rotates from the fully open position (parallel to the pipeline axis) to the fully closed position (perpendicular to the pipeline axis), it gradually reduces the flow area in the pipeline until the fluid is completely blocked. Conversely, rotating the valve plate in the opposite direction restores the fluid passage.
The turbine drive mechanism design allows for precise control of the valve plate rotation angle, typically adjustable within the range of 0° to 90°. This precision allows the PP turbine butterfly valve to adapt to different flow requirements, achieving refined fluid control.
