PPH Centrifugal Fan

The PPH centrifugal fan is a replacement product for boiler ventilation and induced draft fans. Design principles include selecting a suitable fan type, reasonable fan operating conditions, optimizing flow patterns, rationally organizing the air source, carefully designing the blade profile, increasing the tongue clearance, appropriately reducing the fan speed, improving the volute design, purifying the incoming flow, and minimizing secondary flow losses. The inlet and impeller cover profiles were calculated using the finite difference method, and the smooth and uniform airflow at the impeller inlet was used as the optimization criterion for the inlet optimization design. Combined with existing optimization design methods for the fan impeller and volute, an integrated optimization design procedure for the impeller, volute, and inlet was developed, resulting in an aerodynamic sketch curve. Practice has proven that it can guarantee air pressure and air volume while ensuring high efficiency, low specific noise, and a small fan size.

Operating Procedure

  • Pre-start Inspection: Before starting, check that the power supply is connected, the cable is securely connected, and the pipes are unobstructed. Additionally, check the fan blades and inlet for foreign objects or dust; if any are found, clean them.
  • Normal Operation: After startup, maintain normal operation. Avoid overloading to prevent equipment damage. Regularly check the fan's operation to ensure it is in normal condition.
  • Post-Stop Handling: After stopping use, promptly shut down the equipment and clean its surface and internal components. Perform maintenance as necessary.

Maintenance Work

 

  • Regular Cleaning: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate, affecting normal operation. Therefore, regular cleaning is required. Use a soft brush, compressed air, or cleaning agent.
  • Lubrication Maintenance: Bearings, gears, and other components require regular lubrication to ensure stability and normal operation. Select appropriate lubricating oil or grease and follow the instructions.
  • Adjustment and Inspection: During normal use, regularly check equipment parameters such as airflow, current, and noise. If any abnormalities are found, adjust or replace parts promptly.
  • Regular Maintenance: After prolonged use, malfunctions may occur, requiring maintenance, such as bearing wear or gear breakage. Before maintenance, a comprehensive inspection of the equipment is necessary to determine the cause of the malfunction and take appropriate repair measures.

 

Troubleshooting

 
 

Fan cannot start

If the fan cannot start, it may be due to poor power contact, circuit faults, etc. Check if the power cord is securely connected, unplug and replug the power cord, or check the circuit board for short circuits, open circuits, etc.

 
 
 

Excessive fan noise

Excessive noise may occur during operation. This may be due to worn bearings, loose gears, etc. It can be resolved by replacing bearings or tightening gears.

 
 
 

Insufficient airflow

Abnormal airflow may be due to blocked pipes, worn fan blades, etc. The pipes and fan blades need to be cleaned and replaced.
