PPH Sedimentation Tank

The PPH sedimentation tank is a plastic tank with polypropylene homopolymer as the main shell material, integrating settling function. It is mainly used for pretreatment and intermediate buffering of corrosive wastewater or chemical slurries. It combines the chemical resistance, lightweight, and integral winding molding advantages of a "PPH storage tank" with the solid-liquid separation function of a "settling tank" into one device, thus serving as both a corrosion-resistant storage tank and a simple settling device.

Structural Form

Integral Winding Molding: PPH granules are spirally extruded and hot-wound onto a mandrel, completing the cylinder and end caps in one step, without welds or splices. Its resistance to seepage and stress cracking is superior to plate-welded structures.
Flat Bottom + Conical Bottom Options: For only buffering, a flat bottom is sufficient; for periodic sludge removal, a 60° or 45° conical bottom with a central sludge discharge port is recommended.
Top Cover: For normal pressure conditions, a "flat cover + manhole" is used; for slight gas volatilization, an arched cover or a sealed cover with an vent is used; for sealed maintenance, a manhole of φ500 mm or larger is added.
Internal Flow Stabilization: The feed inlet is equipped with a lateral or tangential inlet and a baffle plate to reduce kinetic energy; a serrated overflow weir or perforated water collection trough is added at the top to ensure uniform outflow; if necessary, a "ring flushing pipe" is added to the conical section to prevent clogging.

Production Advantages

PPH sedimentation tanks are lightweight, facilitating transportation and installation, and have relatively relaxed requirements for the installation foundation. Their excellent sealing performance effectively prevents liquid leakage and evaporation. Furthermore, PPH materials are recyclable, meeting environmental protection requirements, and the sedimentation tanks have a long service life, generally exceeding 15 years, reducing equipment replacement and maintenance costs.
